Margaret began her financial aid career as an undergraduate work-study student at Wheelock College in Boston in September 1990. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Education with a minor in Mathematics at Wheelock, Margaret continued working in the financial aid industry for fifteen years before returning to graduate school at Northeastern University as a part-time adult learner in 2009. She earned a M.Ed. in Learning and Instruction/TESOL in 2013.A self-described “lifer” in the financial aid field, Margaret has served in counseling and leadership roles at a number of institutions, including Prince George’s Community College in Largo, MD, MassBay Community College in Wellesley, MA, Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, MA, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and most recently at Saint Anselm College here in New Hampshire. Margaret is especially motivated to help meet the needs of underserved populations and those pursuing education as a pathway to employment. She enjoys meeting with students and has many years of experience working with technology and information systems.
