Great Bay Community College Hosts “Getting Your Degree is as Easy as A to B, Associate to Bachelor”

PORTSMOUTH - High school students across New Hampshire are invited to Great Bay Community College’s expanded Transfer Pathways Event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 10 at the College’s main campus in Portsmouth. At the event,“Getting Your Degree is as Easy as A to B, Associate to Bachelor,” students will learn cost-effective and convenient ways to transfer from Great Bay after receiving a two-year degree to many of the state’s four-year colleges. The program will be in the Great Bay gymnasium, and will include representatives of from more than a dozen four-year New Hampshire and Maine colleges with whom GBCC has a formal transfer partnership agreement. Those schools include the University of New Hampshire at Durham and Manchester, Plymouth State College, Granite State College, Keene State College, Southern New Hampshire University, University of New England, Maine College of Art, New Hampshire Institute of Art, Colby Sawyer College and Franklin Pierce College.  Students will have the chance to talk to admission representatives about their academic programs, as well as ask questions and take home information.  For more information on the event, contact GBCC’s Advising Center:(603) 427-7728
