Cardio Kickboxing

Sep. 23rd 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm

Cardio kickboxing combines martial arts kicking and punching techniques with an aerobic-style exercise routine. It’s a great workout and our instructor works for the YMCA and is highly recommended.

We invite all prospective students to visit Great Bay Community College through our General Information Sessions. They last approximately 1 hour and are intended to introduce students to GBCC’s enrollment process and to our campus.

Zumba

Zumba combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system. Our instructor works for the YMCA and comes highly recommended. You’ll have so much fun; it’s going to be hard to believe you’re working out.

STEM Club Trip to McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

Sep. 27th 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

The S.T.E.M. Club is exploring the science part of S.T.E.M. at the planetarium and museum exhibits found at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord, NH. The group will be meeting at GBCC at 9:30am and leaving the museum to come back to GBCC at 5pm. Signups can be found on the S.T.E.M. Club bulletin board on the first floor.

Outdoor Adventure Klub: Canoe Pawtuckaway

Sep. 28th 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Join OAK for a canoe trip in Pawtuckaway State Park. We will be renting canoes and launching from Fundy Cove. Transportation from the college to the park will be provided, please meet at GBCC at 10am. Cost for this event is $5 for OAK members and $10 for non-OAK members, limit of 12 people.

Movie Night

Sep. 29th 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Student Life is offering tickets to see an upcoming movie at Cinemagic Cinemas on Route 1 in Portsmouth. The chosen movie and show time will be posted with the sign-up sheet in Student Life 3-4 days before. Please arrive at the theatre at least 15 minutes prior to the movie to ensure you get your ticket. Must bring a valid GBCC Student ID to receive ticket.
