History Club Meeting

The History Club is open to all GBCC students, and encourages the participation of those who may not be history majors, but who share an interest in learning more about the past.  Activities include field trips, film showings, and gathering for a fun activity in town.  The History Club is dedicated to promoting the College and the local community through participation in other service-related activities on campus.

Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is a club for students with a libertarian view of things. We are cool with absolutely every one of every background. This is the first informational meeting and we will be talking about game development, field trips, outings, and activities for the semester.

Members of this organization will be given the opportunity to compete against each other or against teams from other educational institutions. The Gaming Club will help educate the GBCC community about professional gaming. The club meets weekly.

OAK Sleigh Ride Social

Mar. 7th 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Outdoor Adventure Klub is going on a Sleigh Ride Social. The group will be riding off into the woods during twilight in an authentic horse drawn sleigh. They will then stop in the woods for a bonfire and refreshments. Early sign-ups for this event are mandatory in order for OAK to purchase tickets and determining which farm they travel to: Charmingfare Farm in Candia, NH or Coppal House Farm in Lee, NH. Sign-ups can be found on the bulletin board behind the Student Info Desk on the Portsmouth Campus.

Make Your Own Street Sign

Mar. 10th 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Join us for a FREE “Make Your Own Street Sign” event! Come by the lobby and design your own; there are different colored signs and letters to make it as unique as you are. In a rush? Place your order and pick it up in Student Life when it’s ready. Taking classes at ATAC? Sign-ups will be at the front reception desk Monday March 9th until 4pm Tuesday March 10th. Signs will be at ATAC for pick up on Monday March 23rd.

OAK Sunday Skiing at Attitash Mountain

Mar. 29th 9:00 am to 7:00 pm

The Outdoor Adventure Klub will be going on a skiing trip to Attitash Mountain. Cost of this event is $5 for OAK members, $10 for GBCC students who are not members, and $30 for any guests. Sign-ups for this event can be found on the bulletin board behind the former Student Info Desk on the first floor of the Portsmouth campus.​
