End 68 Hours of Hunger Food DriveNov. 30th (All day)
The Surgical Technology is holding a food drive for ‘End 68 Hours of Hunger’, a “private, not-for-profit, effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school on Friday afternoon and the free breakfast they receive in school on Monday morning”. Peanut Butter – 18 oz plastic
Jelly – 20 oz squeezable containers
Canned Pasta – Beefaroni, Ravioli, Spaghetti and Meatballs
Canned Soup – 12-20 oz size
Macaroni and Cheese – Boxes not cups
Ramen Noodles – packages not cups
Canned fruit – 3-4 serving size
Granola Bars/Nutrition Bars
Cereal – Boxes or bags of 5-8 servings
Tuna or Chicken – 10 oz or lower cans
Hospitality Club Finals SurvivalNov. 30th
Don’t let finals season get you down. The Hospitality Club will be hosting a pre-finals pick-me-up featuring a refreshing fruit smoothie bar and a variety of healthy treats to get your brain working. Stop in to Room 103 (off of the Green Bean) and get studying.
Gaming Club Gift WrappingNov. 30th
Do you hate the tedious and time consuming task of wrapping holiday gifts for your loved ones? Then let the Gaming Club do it for you! Gaming Club is offering to wrap gifts for students, faculty, and staff for a low price depending on size of item. There are a variety of gift wrap options, bows and other fun details. They will be at the tables outside of the Library on the Portsmouth Campus on the following dates: Monday 11/23 and Wednesday 11/25 (for the early bird shoppers), Monday 11/30 and Wednesday 12/2 (for the black Friday shoppers). They have also dedicated their Friday 12/4 club meeting to gift wrapping as well, so stop in.
STEM Club MeetingNov. 30th
The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Club provides a forum to learn more about the exciting and growing STEM fields and careers. The club also provides student leadership opportunities related to the sciences. Meetings are for all GBCC students enrolled in or interested in STEM related fields.

PiYo is a hybrid, athletic workout, which combines the mind/body practices of yoga and Pilates, as well as the principles of stretch, strength training, conditioning and dynamic movement. During a PiYo class, you will find yourself standing in a yoga pose one minute, and down on the floor in a Pilates pose the next.
