Vet Tech Club Meeting

The club enhances clinical education, career development, and the advancement of the veterinary technology profession, while promoting competent care and humane treatment of animals. The Vet Tech Club is open to all Vet Tech and Pre Vet Tech students.

Outdoor Adventure Klub Meeting

Group Exercise Class: Zumba

zumba_logo.jpgZumba takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Interested in anime? Come to an Anime Club meeting every Monday and Wednesday and meet other students interested in Japanese anime and culture.

Gaming Club Meeting

May. 7th 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Members of this organization will be given the opportunity to compete against each other or against teams from other educational institutions. The Gaming Club will help educate the GBCC community about professional gaming. The club meets weekly.

Yarn club is a place for crafty people to get together with yarn. Knit, crochet or we can teach you to do either.

OAK High Ropes Course Trip

May. 9th 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

The Outdoor Adventure Klub will be going on a high ropes course trip to a location yet to be determined; either Monkey Trunks in Saco, ME or Take Flight in Kittery, ME. The group will be meeting at GBCC, heading out around 9am and getting back to the college around 3pm. Transportation will be provided via the college van. The cost of this event is: $5 for active OAK members, $10 for all other GBCC students, and full price for guests.

GBSNA Noche Mexicana

May. 11th 11:30 am to 10:00 pm

The Great Bay Student Nurses Association is holding a fundraiser at the Portsmouth Margaritas Restaurant from 11:30am to 10pm, where 15% of sales will go directly towards GBSNA. So stop by and have a delicious dinner to end the semester and supports our student nurses at the same time.

Manufacturing is booming, and the jobs are there for people that are trained. Students interested in the ACM program must attend and info session. Info sessions are done by ACM faculty and give students all the information they need about the program, the job prospects, the process for enrolling.  For those  who want to get started right away, you can start the testing session at this event.  Sessions last approximately 1 hour and are only offered at the Advance Technology & Academic Center in Rochester, plan to stay an additional hour if you are testing.
