Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador Program is an elite group of students chosen on the basis of leadership, scholarship, professionalism and desire to promote college events and programs. Student ambassadors help give colleges and universities a personal feel and help visitors to feel welcome. Ambassadors uphold the philosophy, mission and goals of Great Bay Community College by personal example. As representatives of the college, ambassadors are committed to excellence.
Student Ambassadors assist with recruitment, high-school visits, campus tours, special events, and student panels. Student Ambassadors serve as representatives of the college student body and as marketing and recruitment representatives for the entire college. Ambassadors work with faculty, staff, students and members of the community to promote GBCC and its programs and services. They seek to enhance prospective students’ knowledge about the various student support services and programs offered at the college.
A position as a Great Bay Community College Student Ambassador is one of high esteem and a source of self-enrichment. Student Ambassadors strive to be role models within the college and community.
Ambassadors are chosen prior to the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
