CAP Assistive Technology

Assistive technology is available to students with documented disabilities through the Coordinator of Disability Services in the Center for Academic Planning & Support. Portable equipment may be signed out of the center for short-term use.

  • Computer station with specialized software:
    -Dragon Naturally Speaking voice-recognition software
    -Math Talk voice-recognition software to use with Dragon
    -Inspiration to assist with written expression
    -Zoomtext to enlarge text
    -Read & Write Gold Mobil to promote literacy skill development (on a USB flash drive) includes scan and read text feature and text- mp3/Audio conversions
