Staffed by faculty and trained student personnel, the Writing Center at CAPS offers assistance to students around any writing assignment, including:
- Brainstorming topic ideas
- Organizing writing assignment
- Writing mechanics (spelling, grammar, sentence structure, paragraphs, etc.)
- Editing
- Proof-reading
- Citing Sources
- Finding on-line and hard copy resources
- Tips on writing research papers
Drop-in times for the Center are posted in CAPS and around campus at the beginning of each semester. Additional hours may be added throughout the semester so students are encouraged to check with CAPS for any updates.
