Early Childhood Education Certificate

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a positive learning environment for young children. Teachers who work in high quality programs for children understand how young children grow and learn and are able to provide materials and activities that are developmentally and interest appropriate.

In addition to the Associate degree, Great Bay Community College offers a 23 credit Certificate in Early Childhood Education and a 29 credit Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Education, which are available to students who have earned a high school degree. These Certificates can be completed on a full or part-time basis and courses are offered during the day, evening, and online.
