Program Outcomes

Students completing the program are prepared to work for doctors, hospitals and other healthcare facilities, medical billing companies or in related fields.  They will develop skills in medical software, CPT-4, HCPCs and ICD-10 coding, medical terminology, medical insurance form preparation, and other related administrative office procedures. Successful completion of this Certificate will prepare students to take the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Exam. This is an independent national certification exam and the cost is not included in the fees associated with the college.
