HIT220G - Directed Practices I: PPE
This course is to offer an introduction to health information technology in practice. The student will experience application issues specific to the health domain. This PPE (professional practice experience) is an opportunity for students to begin to apply theories, ideas, principles, and skills learned in the classroom to Health IT practice. Using the internship site as the organizational laboratory, the student will further develop skills for becoming a Health IT professional. This course will be offered in an 8-week format with a total of 96 hours of student/PPE site interaction.

Prerequisites: HIT130G, HIT140G, HIT210G, MOAA130G, MOAA210G all with a grade of C or better. Admission to Health Information Technology program.
