ECE202G - Senior Practicum: Student Teaching
This Practicum allows students to assume teacher responsibilities in an Early Childhood setting under guided supervision. Throughout the semester, students will practice developmentally appropriate methodology in their work with young children by planning and implementing activities and preparing an environment for their classroom. Students will complete Practicum hours at a college approved Early Childhood program. Students are usually placed with two different age groups in their senior year (i.e. infant/toddler; preschool; school-age).

Prerequisites: ECE100G, 112G, 116G (ECE112G requires a C+ or better), Child Care Personnel Health Form on record with no physical or mental restrictions that indicate should not be around children; Successful background check as required by NH Child Care Licensing Bureau; reliable transportation to practicum site; cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in ECE coursework and 2.0 overall GPA and permission of Program Coordinator.
