College graduation is an important aspect of your evolution and human experience. It is a celebration of learning, overcoming obstacles, hard work and accomplishments. It is also a great time to share memories with the friends you've made along the way.
Below you will find some basic information about this year's ceremony.
CAPS and GOWNS: You can order your caps and gowns through the Bookstore (427-0891) beginning March 15th. Caps and gowns will be available for pickup on May 12th.
GRADUATION: Saturday, May 17th at 11:00am at GBCC. Graduates should arrive by 10:00am.
GRADUATION REHEARSAL BREAKFAST: Friday, May 16th at 9:00a.m at the Portsmouth Country Club. Please RSVP to email@example.com by Friday May 2nd. Academic Awards will be presented at the breakfast. This breakfast is FREE to all graduating students. Due to space restrictions the breakfast is limited to students, faculty and invited staff and administration.
GRADUATION REHEARSAL: Friday, May 16th at 11:00am This is the only practice that will be held. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ATTEND.
COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER: Senator Jeanne Shaheen
PARKING: Parking is available on campus on a first come first serve basis. We do encourage visitors and guests to car pool when possible. Please note parking is NOT PERMITTED at the Passport Center and they will tow vehicles.
STUDENT SINGER: If you are interested in singing the National Anthem at Graduation please email Mike Fischer at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a time to audition. Auditions can be scheduled the week of April 7 from 12pm-1pm each day. If you are unable to make the audition during the day a special evening audition may be possible.
REMINDER: ALL FEES AND FINES (library fines, tuition, etc.) and FINANCIAL AID EXIT INTERVIEWS MUST BE CLEARED BEFORE FINAL EXAMS. If these are not cleared before graduation, you will not receive your degree.
