Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office at Great Bay Community College is on the first floor of the Portsmouth campus in The College Services One Stop suite.

    1. Advanced Composite Manufacturing Scholarships

      Who is eligible? Students in the Advanced Composites Manufacturing Program with financial need
      Sponsor: Great Bay Community College
      Amounts: Up to the cost of tuition and fees
      Application Deadline: rolling - 2 weeks before term start
      Application: FAFSA - www.fafsa.gov

      These scholarships were established in 2013 with generous funding from Albany International Corporation and Safran Aerospace Composites, and provide assistance to Great Bay students in the Advanced Composites Manufacturing(ACM)Program at the Advanced Technology and Academic Center(ATAC)in Rochester.

    2. Perkins nontraditional Books Funds

      Who is eligible? Students enrolled in a program that is considered nontraditional for their gender
      Sponsor: US Department of Education/Carl D. Perkins (CTEA)?
      Deadline: Start of each semester

    3. Perkins Nontraditional/Gender Equity Scholarships 

      Who is eligible? Students enrolled in a program that is considered nontraditional for their gender?
      Sponsor: US Department of Education/Carl D. Perkins (CTEA)
      Amounts: $200 - $500
      Application Deadline: Fall: September 30 Spring: January 31
      Application: FAFSA - www.fafsa.gov and Nontraditional Scholarship Application. Email jmancini@ccsnh.edu for additional information

      This grant is awarded to men and women who are matriculated in degree programs determined to be nontraditional for their gender. The purpose of this grant is to increase the percentage of students enrolled and retained in these programs that prepare them for high-skill and high-wage, or high demand occupations underrepresented for their gender. Please see the specific listing of eligible programs listed on the scholarship application.
