After over a decade as Great Bay Community College’s President, Dr. Will Arvelo accepted a nomination from NH Governor Chris Sununu to be Director of the Division of Economic Development with the NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs. Great Bay Community College is currently under the interim Leadership of Dr. Susan Huard, who will serve as co-chair on the 15-person Chancellor-appointed presidential search committee to help identify Arvelo’s successor. The other co-chair of the search committee is Sharon Harris, a member of the CCSNH Board of Trustees. The diverse representation of the search committee includes respected contributors and advocates for the college, including faculty, staff, business and community partners and a current student leader.
Great Bay Community College is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader to work with internal and external college stakeholders who is driven by student success, working towards student success goals by engaging with the community and assuring college programs are innovative, meet community needs, and have both educational and economic value.
